## New Parking Spaces in Sharjah

Sharjah is set to enhance its parking facilities by adding 1,222 new spaces in the Al Khan and Al Mamzar areas. This initiative aims to alleviate congestion and improve accessibility in these densely populated regions.

## Current and Future Developments

Two parking areas in Al Khan have already been completed, providing 682 spaces. Ongoing work on three additional sites will accommodate another 540 vehicles, bringing the total capacity to 1,222 spaces across five locations.

## Municipal Efforts

Khalid Al Hammadi, Head of Parking Services at Sharjah City Municipality, highlighted the expansion as part of broader efforts to improve parking services citywide. The municipality continues to develop its parking network to meet the needs of residents and visitors.
