Abu Dhabi bans 50-seat worker buses from Mafraq Bridge exit

## New Traffic Measures in Abu Dhabi

Starting August 17, Abu Dhabi will enforce a new traffic regulation prohibiting 50-seat worker buses from using the Mafraq Bridge exit E328B. This exit leads to the E22 Abu Dhabi-Al Ain Road. The decision, announced by the Integrated Transport Centre, aims to enhance road safety and improve traffic conditions.

## Alternative Route for Affected Buses

Buses affected by this restriction will need to take an alternative route via the Truck Bridge, which leads to Al Rawdah Street, E30, towards Mafraq Workers City. Abu Dhabi Mobility has urged bus operators and drivers to adhere to this new route once the regulation is in effect.

## Objective of the Regulation

The primary goal of this measure is to streamline traffic flow and ensure safer travel conditions on the roads. The Integrated Transport Centre emphasized the importance of compliance with the new route to achieve these objectives.
