Riyadh Air begins Pakistan operations with daily Islamabad flights

## New Daily Service

Riyadh Air has commenced daily flights between Riyadh and Islamabad, marking its entry into the Pakistani market. The service offers seven flights a week, enhancing connectivity between the two capitals.

## Inaugural Flight Details

The first flight, RX-660, landed at Islamabad International Airport with 69 passengers and departed with 272. A ceremony at the airport featured key figures including Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Pakistan and Riyadh Air’s Chief Commercial Officer.

## Expansion Plans

Starting August 18, Riyadh Air will introduce flights to Lahore, operating three times weekly. Both routes will utilize Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners.

## Significance of the Launch

The new routes cater to the large Pakistani community in Saudi Arabia, as well as business and religious travelers. Over two million Pakistanis reside in Saudi Arabia, contributing to various sectors.

## Strategic Goals

Riyadh Air aims to expand its network to over 100 destinations by the decade's end, with these new routes strengthening ties and connectivity between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
