Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S27 series might see a significant change in its camera technology. Traditionally relying on its own ISOCELL sensors, the company is reportedly testing Sony sensors for some models in the S27 lineup. This potential shift is noteworthy as Sony sensors are known for their distinct handling of color and dynamic range.

## New Models and Features

The Galaxy S27 series is expected to include four models: S27, S27+, S27 Pro, and S27 Ultra. The introduction of a "Pro" model is a new addition, positioned between the Plus and Ultra versions. The standard S27 and S27+ are rumored to feature a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and an unspecified telephoto camera.

## Pro and Ultra Enhancements

The S27 Pro and Ultra models are expected to offer more advanced features. Leaks suggest both could include a 200MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide sensor. The Ultra model might use a customized version of Samsung's ISOCELL HPA sensor. Additionally, the Ultra could replace its 3x telephoto lens with a 5x periscope lens, utilizing computational photography for zoom.

## Selfie Camera Upgrades

Both the S27 Pro and Ultra are anticipated to have a 16MP selfie camera with autofocus, an upgrade from the previous 12MP sensor. The base S27 and S27+ might retain the 12MP front camera, distinguishing them from the higher-end models.
