The roadmap is ready for presentation to potential investors.

## Safety and Strategic Goals

The shortlisted provinces meet safety criteria aligned with International Atomic Energy Agency standards, such as being more than two kilometers from active faults and above mean sea level to mitigate tsunami risks. The initiative aims to enhance energy security, reduce electricity costs, and lessen reliance on fossil fuels. The government plans to have 1,200 megawatts of nuclear capacity by 2032, with construction starting around 2028.

## Future Steps and Considerations

Officials emphasize that identifying potential sites is an initial step, with further studies, public consultations, and regulatory approvals required. The development is part of a broader strategy to diversify the country's energy sources amid growing demand and a shift towards cleaner energy.
