Abu Dhabi launches 18 smart ambulances across three categories

Abu Dhabi has unveiled a fleet of 18 smart ambulances, categorized into three groups, each designed to address specific medical needs. This initiative, launched by the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi and the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority, aims to improve emergency response times and provide specialized care from the onset of an emergency.

The ambulances are divided into three categories: mobile units for critically ill patients, specialized vehicles for mothers and newborns, and ambulances equipped for patients with severe obesity.
