## Parkin's Strategic Expansion

Dubai-based Parkin Company PJSC is broadening its reach beyond the UAE, having recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Bahrain Car Parks Company, also known as Amakin. This move comes shortly after Parkin's initial foray into the Egyptian market.

## Focus on Smart Parking

The agreement with Amakin is aimed at exploring smart parking and mobility solutions in Bahrain. The companies plan to integrate their digital platforms, potentially allowing users to access and pay for parking through their mobile apps. They will also analyze mobility data to identify parking trends and develop data-driven services.

## No Immediate Financial Commitments

While the partnership is exploratory, no specific investment or commercial contracts have been announced. Parkin CEO Eng. Mohamed Abdulla Al Ali highlighted the significance of this collaboration in enhancing smart parking capabilities beyond Dubai.

## Previous Expansion into Egypt

Prior to the Bahrain agreement, Parkin signed an MoU with several Egyptian entities, marking its entry into Egypt. This deal focuses on smart parking solutions, including technologies like AI-enabled cameras and digital permits.

## Different Strategies for Different Markets

In Bahrain, the emphasis is on digital integration with an existing operator, while in Egypt, the focus is on deploying Parkin's parking-management systems. Financial terms for both agreements remain undisclosed.
