## Cybersecurity Education for Youth
The Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, in collaboration with the UAE Cyber Security Council, has launched a summer programme aimed at educating young entrepreneurs about cybersecurity. This initiative is part of the Future Entrepreneur Programme 2026, designed to equip children and young people with essential digital skills.
## Programme Details
The summer camp, themed "Their summer today. Their ventures tomorrow… with safety and confidence," is being conducted across Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra. It focuses on teaching participants how to protect personal information, secure digital identities, and safely use online platforms. The programme also covers identifying and mitigating common cyber risks.
## Importance of Cybersecurity
As businesses increasingly rely on digital platforms, the programme emphasizes the importance of cybersecurity in entrepreneurship. Participants learn how safeguarding information and digital assets can contribute to the long-term success and stability of their ventures.
## Structured Learning
The camp is open to children and young people aged four to 18, with four learning levels tailored to different age groups: Young Innovators, Foundation Stage, Intermediate Stage, and Advanced Stage. The curriculum includes practical activities, interactive workshops, mentoring sessions, and project presentations.
## Encouraging Innovation
Participants are encouraged to develop their own business ideas, fostering creativity, teamwork, and responsibility. The programme concludes with a graduation ceremony, where participants receive certificates of participation.
## Supporting UAE's Vision
This initiative aligns with the UAE's vision of building an innovation-driven economy by preparing young talent to lead future projects confidently. The Khalifa Fund aims to enhance young people's entrepreneurial skills while promoting safe and responsible use of technology.
