## Theft and Sentencing
A man has been sentenced to one year in prison followed by deportation after being found guilty of stealing Dh75,000 from a shared accommodation in Sharjah. The theft was uncovered through CCTV footage, which also revealed an attempted burglary by the same individual.
## Court Proceedings
The Sharjah Misdemeanours Court handed down the sentence, splitting it into six months for the theft and another six months for the attempted burglary. The court ordered the man's deportation from the UAE after he serves his prison term.
## Case Details
The incident came to light when a resident reported the disappearance of Dh75,000 from his room. The money was meant to be deposited into his company's account. Upon reviewing surveillance footage, the complainant discovered the suspect trying to enter another room, leading to further suspicions.
## Investigation and Verdict
Investigators used the CCTV evidence to link the suspect to both the theft and the attempted burglary. Despite the defendant's denial of the charges, the court found him guilty based on the evidence presented.
