## Financial Performance

International Holding Company (IHC) has reported a substantial increase in its profit for the first half of 2026, with figures reaching Dh26.2 billion, marking a 195.6% rise compared to the previous year. This growth is attributed to strong performance across various sectors, strategic investments, and effective portfolio management. Revenue for the period increased by 34.5% to Dh64.9 billion, while gross profit saw a 41% rise to Dh16.8 billion.

## Sector Contributions

The real estate and construction sectors remained the largest contributors to IHC's revenue, generating Dh20.9 billion, a 10.4% increase. The marine and dredging sector also performed well, with revenues of Dh14.7 billion, up by 4.5%. Energy and mining revenues reached Dh12.3 billion, driven by expanded trading activities. The hospitality and leisure sector more than doubled its revenue to Dh5.2 billion, and financial services saw a 62.8% increase to Dh3 billion.

## Asset and Investment Growth

IHC's total assets grew by 9.6% to Dh469.7 billion by the end of June, with total equity rising by 7% to Dh268.3 billion. The company invested approximately Dh14 billion in various ventures, including associates, joint ventures, and real estate. The group maintained a quick ratio of 2.7 and a debt-to-equity ratio of 0.4, reflecting its robust financial health.

## Strategic Moves

IHC expanded its global technology investments, including stakes in companies like SpaceX and OpenAI. It also secured a $1 billion investment in India's Sammaan Capital and completed the acquisition of First Women Bank Limited in Pakistan. Additionally, IHC entered a joint venture with Adani for an aluminium project in India and acquired Traverse Midstream Partners in the US.

## Share Buyback Program

In June, IHC initiated a Dh1.8 billion tranche of its second Dh5 billion share-buyback program, aligning with its strategy to balance growth investments with shareholder returns. The company plans to continue selective capital deployment in the latter half of 2026, focusing on sectors with strong management and clear value creation potential.
