## Cultural Celebration at Sharjah Museum

The Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization is hosting the third edition of 'Ramadan Lamma,' a cultural event offering free entry throughout the Holy Month. Running from February 26 to March 1, 2026, the event aims to foster community spirit and highlight the museum as a center for learning and cultural exchange.

## Activities and Exhibitions

Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities, including interactive workshops, cultural games, and theatrical performances. The event also features a temporary exhibition, "Cultural Landscapes of Al-Andalus," showcasing over 60 historical pieces that explore the heritage of Al-Andalus.

## Community Engagement

Supported by local entities like Sharjah Coop and the Sharjah Environment and Protected Areas Authority, the event includes specialized workshops and competitions. The museum will operate in two shifts, from 9am to 2pm and 9pm to 11pm, Saturday to Thursday, and will be closed on Fridays.

## Enhancing Cultural Role

This initiative is part of the Sharjah Museums Authority's efforts to enhance the cultural and social role of museums in the region, providing an opportunity for both residents and visitors to engage with Islamic history and culture during Ramadan.
