## Nationwide Crackdown on Illegal Residents

Saudi Arabia has deported 10,827 individuals who were residing in the country illegally over the past week. This action follows a series of coordinated security operations conducted by the Ministry of Interior from July 30 to August 5.

## Arrests and Violations

During these operations, authorities arrested a total of 14,440 people for violations related to residency, labor, and border regulations. Among those detained, 7,090 were found to be violating residency laws, 3,932 breached border security laws, and 3,418 violated labor laws.

## Diplomatic and Legal Procedures

The Ministry of Interior reported that 18,131 violators have been referred to their respective diplomatic missions to secure travel documents, while 6,357 are in the process of completing travel arrangements for deportation.

## Illegal Entry Attempts

Security forces also detained 1,593 individuals attempting to enter Saudi Arabia unlawfully. Of these, 40% were Yemeni nationals, 59% were Ethiopian, and the remaining 1% were from other countries. Additionally, 32 individuals were caught trying to exit the country illegally.

## Penalties for Facilitators

Authorities have warned that those who facilitate illegal entry, transportation, or employment of violators could face severe penalties, including up to 15 years in prison, fines reaching SR1 million, and confiscation of vehicles or property used in these activities.

## Public Cooperation

The Ministry has urged the public to report any violations through designated emergency numbers, emphasizing the importance of community involvement in maintaining national security.
