Emirates offers unlimited free date changes for Dubai-bound passengers

## New Flexibility for Dubai Travelers

Emirates has announced a new policy allowing passengers flying to Dubai to change their travel dates an unlimited number of times without incurring any fees. This initiative, effective from August 10, aims to provide greater flexibility for travelers booking flights to Dubai.

## Fare Classes Affected

The free date-change policy applies to a variety of fare classes, including Economy Saver, Economy Flex, and Business Class Special, Saver, and Flex fares. However, any fare differences may still apply when changing dates.

## Reduced Refund Fees

In addition to the free date changes, Emirates has reduced refund fees for flights to Dubai. Economy Saver fare refunds now incur a $50 fee, while Economy Flex fares have a $25 fee. Business Class Special and Saver fares also have a $50 fee, with Flex fares at $25. No-show fees remain unchanged.

## Network-Wide Benefits

Passengers traveling anywhere on the Emirates network can benefit from one free date change on tickets booked from April 2, 2026. This includes flights connecting through Dubai. Additionally, travelers can hold a fare for 24 hours at no charge while finalizing plans.

## Comprehensive Travel Insurance

Emirates is offering a new Comprehensive Travel Cover policy, which includes conflict cover and reimbursement for medical expenses up to $25,000. The policy also covers trip cancellations, baggage delays, and emergency evacuations. Available in 27 countries, it can be purchased during booking or added later.

## Support for Disrupted Flights

For disrupted flights, Emirates will provide accommodation for affected customers and rebook them to their destinations at no extra cost if onward connections are impacted.

## Skywards Member Benefits

Skywards members can enjoy additional benefits until August 31, including reduced Tier Miles requirements and bonus Tier Miles on flights. A special Cash+Miles rate is also available for various services.
