## New Exam Structure
For the first time, the CBSE Class 10 Science exam has been divided into distinct sections for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. This change has been positively received by students and educators in the UAE, who found the new format to be student-friendly and balanced.
## Student and Educator Reactions
Dr. Beno Kurien, Principal of International Indian School in Abu Dhabi, noted that the exam was easier than expected, especially after a challenging Maths paper. Students reported that Biology and Physics were straightforward, while Chemistry posed more of a challenge.
Indu Panicker, Principal of Bhavans Pearl Wisdom School in Sharjah, highlighted that the section-wise division helped ensure comprehensive coverage of all three science branches, enhancing conceptual clarity.
## Benefits of the New Format
Jyoti Sharma, Head of the Science Department, praised the new format for reducing confusion and allowing students to organize their thoughts better. The inclusion of competency-based questions was seen as a step towards modernizing assessments, encouraging students to apply their knowledge to real-life scenarios.
## Student Feedback
Students like Afaan Shabeer and Oshin appreciated the structured layout, which helped them manage their time effectively and focus on each subject separately. Aryan noted that the exam content closely aligned with classroom revisions, making it easier to navigate.
Overall, the new exam format has been credited with reducing stress and improving clarity, with both students and educators optimistic about the results.
