## New Parking System Overview

Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO) is set to introduce a ticketless parking system managed by PARKONIC. This new system will integrate with Salik accounts for automatic billing, eliminating the need for physical parking machines or cash payments.

## Pricing Structure

The parking fees will vary throughout the day. From 8am to 4pm, the rate is set at Dh4 per hour. During peak hours, from 4pm to 8pm, the cost rises to Dh6 per hour, before reverting to Dh4 until midnight. Parking will be free on Sundays and public holidays.

## Payment Methods

Motorists can pay via SMS or have the charges automatically deducted from their Salik accounts. If no SMS session is initiated, the default payment method will be through Salik.

## Compliance and Enforcement

All vehicles, including those for People of Determination, are subject to these charges. Drivers without a Salik account or with insufficient funds are advised to use the SMS option to avoid penalties. The exact start date for this system is yet to be announced.
