The Philippine Society for Quality (PSQ) has inaugurated its first international chapter, PSQ Middle East (PSQ ME), in Dubai. This marks a significant expansion for the organization, which has been promoting professional excellence since its founding in 1969.

## A Milestone Event

The launch event, held at the Coca-Cola Arena, was attended by key figures including Ambrosio Brian Enciso III, Consul General of the Philippines in Dubai, and PSQ leaders Dr. Rey Fremista and Dr. Zandra Maningas. They emphasized the importance of this new chapter as a bridge for professionals across borders.

## Vision and Mission

Ana Balbon, founder and president of PSQ ME, highlighted the chapter's mission to support overseas Filipino workers and the broader professional community in the UAE and Middle East. PSQ ME aims to offer a platform for quality, leadership, and continuous improvement, welcoming professionals of all nationalities.

## Leadership and Programs

The executive council, led by Balbon, includes Noel De Guzman, Oliver Navato, Jemelyn Danao, Racel Canaria, Camille Erispe, and Rhestlyn Stephanie Dimalanta. They plan to introduce programs on sports leadership, strategic HR management, and organizational behavior, starting in March, to enhance professional skills and competitiveness.
