Dubai’s flydubai reports strong profit, expands network

## Record Financial Performance

Dubai-based airline flydubai achieved a pre-tax profit of Dh2.2 billion for the year ending December 31, 2025. This marks a significant financial milestone as the airline also saw its total revenue increase by 6% to Dh13.6 billion. Profit after tax was reported at Dh1.9 billion.

## Passenger and Fleet Growth

In 2025, flydubai carried a record 15.7 million passengers, operating 126,604 flights. The airline expanded its network to 140 destinations across 58 countries, launching nine new routes and resuming three others. The fleet grew to 97 aircraft with the addition of 12 Boeing 737 MAX 8 jets.

## Future Plans

Looking ahead, flydubai plans to receive 12 more aircraft in 2026 and is set to launch a new route to Bangkok later this year. The airline continues to focus on enhancing technology, training, and customer experience.
