## Academic Year Overview

Schools in the UAE are set to commence the 2026-27 academic year on August 31, 2026. The school year will span 37 weeks, concluding on July 2, 2027, and will include 185 teaching days.

## Term Structure

The first term will last 13 weeks with 67 teaching days. The second and third terms will each be 12 weeks long, comprising 60 and 58 teaching days, respectively.

## Assessment Schedule

Assessments will begin early in the term. The Arabic Baseline Assessment is scheduled from September 7 to October 2, and diagnostic tests will occur from September 7 to 18. The Standardised Proficiency Assessment will take place from October 5 to 30.

## Breaks and Holidays
