## A Glimpse into UAE's Heritage
The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) 2026 is currently showcasing the UAE's deep-rooted traditions in hunting, falconry, and equestrian sports. Visitors can explore rare photographs, historical documents, and traditional weapons that highlight the nation's cultural legacy.
## National Archives Pavilion
The National Archives and Library has set up a unique pavilion shaped like a ship, featuring a collection of photographs, documents, and films. This exhibit, in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Police, aims to educate the younger generation about the UAE's military and cultural history.
## Traditional Sports and Leadership
The exhibition also emphasizes the role of UAE's leaders, particularly the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, in preserving traditional sports like falconry, horse racing, and camel racing. Large screens display documentaries of Sheikh Zayed's hunting trips, providing insight into his dedication to Emirati traditions.
## Historical Newspapers and Publications
Visitors have the opportunity to view pages from Al Ittihad newspaper from the 1970s, offering a historical perspective on how traditional sports were reported. The pavilion's bookshop includes publications on falconry, camels, and horses, further enriching the cultural experience.
## Engaging Activities for All Ages
Interactive screens at the pavilion allow children to engage in simulated horse and camel racing games, making the experience both educational and entertaining. Additionally, lectures and cultural activities are being held to discuss the significance of hunting and equestrianism in shaping Emirati identity.
