Vaibhav Sooryavanshi becomes youngest captain in Duleep Trophy

## A Historic Appointment

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has made history by becoming the youngest captain in the Duleep Trophy at just 15 years old. He took on the role for East Zone during their semi-final match against Central Zone in Bengaluru.

## Unexpected Leadership

Originally named vice-captain, Sooryavanshi stepped up after regular captain Ishan Kishan sustained a wrist injury. Kishan was injured while keeping wickets and had to leave the field for further medical evaluation.

## A Bold Decision

In his debut as captain, Sooryavanshi made a significant impact. During the 40th over, he decided to review a not-out decision with only seconds left on the DRS timer. The review was successful, leading to the dismissal of Aryan Juyal for 46 runs.

## Social Media Buzz

Sooryavanshi's decisive action and subsequent celebration quickly gained attention on social media, marking another milestone in his burgeoning cricket career.
