The disaster, which struck on August 26, has resulted in significant loss of life. Authorities report at least 750 fatalities across Nepal and Tibet, with 734 deaths occurring in Nepal alone. Additionally, 3,044 individuals are still missing, including 2,498 in Nepal. Over 7,500 people have been rescued so far.
