UAE flights: Which international airlines have resumed services to Dubai, Abu Dhabi

## Gradual Resumption of Flights

International airlines are progressively reinstating services to the UAE, with several major carriers like Turkish Airlines, Air France, and Qatar Airways resuming flights to Dubai and Abu Dhabi. However, some airlines continue to suspend or reduce their services due to regional security concerns.

## Current Airline Operations

Emirates has restored a significant portion of its network, operating to 140 destinations across 72 countries. Etihad Airways and flydubai are also maintaining operations, though some routes remain subject to changes. Air India and Air India Express have resumed their full GCC network, while other airlines like IndiGo and Flynas are selectively operating flights.

## Suspended Services

Despite the resumption of many routes, several airlines have suspended flights to the UAE. British Airways, Singapore Airlines, and Cathay Pacific have paused services until late October. Air Canada and Virgin Atlantic have also suspended their routes, with some not expected to resume until 2027.

## Factors Affecting Flight Operations

The UAE has reopened air traffic, but airlines are making independent decisions based on security assessments. The European Union Aviation Safety Agency has advised avoiding certain airspaces due to potential risks, influencing airlines' operational choices. This situation may lead to longer flight times and potential schedule changes for travelers.
