Meet the two Emirati sisters from Al Ain turning UAE landmarks into building sets

## AlRon: A Unique Venture

Jawaher and Reem AlBlooshi, sisters from Al Ain, have launched AlRon, the UAE's first building block brand. Their inspiration came while assembling a Taj Mahal set, realizing there were no similar sets representing UAE landmarks. This led them to create AlRon, aiming to celebrate Emirati symbols and stories.

## First Releases

AlRon's initial products include "Shaheen," a 455-piece model of Abu Dhabi's crest, and "Desert Falcon," a 394-piece representation of the UAE Air Force's F-16. The sisters personally test each prototype to ensure the building experience is enjoyable and accurate.

## A Unique Approach

AlRon sets are distinct in that they begin with a historical overview of the landmark, adding depth to the building experience. The packaging is thoughtfully designed, emphasizing the connection to Emirati heritage.

## Broad Appeal

The sisters anticipated a wide audience for their sets, but were surprised by their popularity as gifts. The sets are designed for all ages, priced at Dh250, making them accessible yet meaningful.

## Working Together

Jawaher and Reem find working together natural due to their shared understanding and trust. However, they acknowledge the challenge of separating work from personal time.

## Future Plans

The sisters plan to expand their collection, aiming to share more UAE stories through their building sets. They hope each new release will evoke pride and connection to the UAE.
