## New $1 Coin Design

The US Mint is set to release a $1 coin featuring former President Donald Trump to commemorate America's 250th anniversary. The coin, which will be available for purchase starting Wednesday, displays Trump's face on one side and the Great Seal of the United States on the other.

## Approval and Controversy

The design received approval from the US Commission of Fine Arts, whose members were appointed by Trump. However, the coin has sparked controversy due to federal laws prohibiting the depiction of living presidents on currency. Despite this, the treasury secretary has the authority to approve special coins under certain conditions.

## Coin Details

The coin is inscribed with "LIBERTY" above Trump's image and "1776 ~ 2026" below. The reverse side features the Great Seal, with a bald eagle holding arrows and an olive branch, and the motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM."

## Pricing and Availability

A roll of 25 coins is priced at $61, while a bag of 100 costs $154.50. Some coins, minted on July 4th, are marked "July 4th" and are randomly included in the rolls and bags. Initially, households can place only two orders, but this restriction will be lifted on Thursday afternoon.
