Saudi real estate brokers face fines of up to SR200,000 for violations

## Regulatory Crackdown

Saudi Arabia's Real Estate General Authority (REGA) is intensifying its oversight of the real estate sector, warning brokers of fines up to SR200,000 for regulatory breaches. The authority is also prepared to suspend or revoke licenses as part of its enforcement measures.

## Increased Inspections

In August, REGA conducted over 17,000 field inspections across the kingdom, identifying numerous violations. These included operating without a valid license, inadequate verification of property information, and failure to display license details in advertisements.

The authority also invites citizens to report any suspected violations through its official platform.
