## Program Closure and Impact
The 'A Dubai Invite' initiative, launched by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) on July 20, has concluded after receiving more than 90,000 applications from residents. Over 30,000 benefit packages were distributed, reflecting the strong interest from residents in promoting Dubai as a travel destination.
## Continuing Benefits
Although new registrations have ended, residents who successfully registered visitors before the program's closure will continue to receive benefits. These benefits are valid for visitors arriving in Dubai until October 31, 2026, and can be used at participating venues until December 31, 2026.
## Resident Participation
The program highlighted the significant role of Dubai's diverse resident community in the city's tourism efforts. Residents from nearly 200 nationalities participated, showcasing their enthusiasm to share Dubai with friends and family.
## Collaborative Efforts
The success of the initiative was supported by partnerships between public and private sectors, which allowed for a tripling of the available benefit packages. Participating partners included hotels, attractions, and dining establishments, offering exclusive experiences to visitors.
## Future Focus
DET plans to continue leveraging the visiting friends and relatives (VFR) segment as part of its tourism strategy. The department aims to maintain momentum by working with tourism partners and the resident community to promote Dubai's offerings.
