The United Arab Emirates has initiated an emergency relief mission to assist Nepal, which has been severely impacted by recent floods and landslides. This mission, directed by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is part of the country's ongoing humanitarian efforts.

## Aid and Resources

The UAE has committed $10 million to aid those affected by the disaster. Two aircraft have already been dispatched, delivering a total of 128 tonnes of humanitarian supplies. The first plane carried 83 tonnes of food and shelter materials, while the second delivered 45 tonnes of essential supplies, including food and electricity generators.
