UAE weather forecast: Temperatures to hit 46°C as blowing dust, clouds expected this week

## Rising Temperatures and Dusty Winds

The UAE is set to experience soaring temperatures this week, with forecasts predicting highs of up to 46°C in some inland areas. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has indicated that dusty winds will accompany these high temperatures, particularly affecting eastern and southern regions.

## Weather Patterns and Conditions

The weather is expected to be fair to partly cloudy, with clouds forming over eastern and southern areas by the afternoon. A weak surface low-pressure system from the east, along with an upper-air low-pressure system, is influencing these conditions.

## Temperature and Humidity Variations

Inland temperatures will range from 42°C to 46°C, while coastal areas will see highs between 39°C and 44°C. Mountain regions will experience cooler temperatures, ranging from 30°C to 36°C. Humidity levels could reach up to 85% in coastal and mountainous areas, with minimum temperatures dropping to 23°C in the mountains.

## Wind and Sea Conditions

Winds will vary from south-easterly to north-easterly, blowing at speeds of 10-25 km/h, and could reach up to 35 km/h in some areas. The seas in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea are expected to remain slight.

## Outlook for the Week

As the week progresses, fair to partly cloudy conditions will persist, with an increase in humidity expected. There is a possibility of mist forming over some coastal areas on Thursday night and Friday morning. Fog or mist could also develop over coastal and internal areas on Friday night and Saturday morning. On Saturday, convective clouds might form over eastern areas in the afternoon, with winds potentially strengthening to 40 km/h. Fog or mist could again appear overnight into Sunday morning.
