## Recognition Ceremony in Dubai
The UAE Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) recently celebrated the achievements of 72 Pakistani chartered accountants in Dubai. This event took place during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Members’ Recognition Ceremony, which was attended by over 175 ICAP members and leaders from the financial sector.
## Distinguished Guests
The ceremony was graced by Pakistan's Ambassador to the UAE, Shafqat Ali Khan, who served as the chief guest. Other notable attendees included Naweed Lalani from the Dubai Financial Services Authority, Jehanzeb Amin, Vice President of ICAP, and Ali Zeb Khan, Trade and Investment Counsellor at the Pakistan Embassy in the UAE.
## Categories of Recognition
ICAP members were honored in three categories based on their years of service: Gold for 50 years, Silver for 25 years, and Bronze for 15 years. Ambassador Khan highlighted the significant contributions of Pakistani chartered accountants to the UAE's financial and business sectors, emphasizing their role in enhancing Pakistan's professional reputation.
## Event Highlights
The event commenced with a welcome address by Yasir Gadit, Chairman of the Organising and Coordination Committee. Sadiq Saleem from Pure Health Group acted as the master of ceremonies. The AGM was chaired by Khushboo Mushtaq, marking the end of her tenure as Chairperson for 2025-26. Muhammad Asif Iqbal, Chairman of the ICAP UAE Chapter, concluded the event with closing remarks, expressing gratitude to all participants and supporters.
