## Visit Highlights Public-Private Collaboration

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, recently toured Aster Pharmacy's distribution center in Dubai Industrial City. This facility is among the largest pharmaceutical warehouses in the region.

During his visit, Sheikh Hamdan emphasized the crucial role of private sector involvement in developing a robust healthcare system. He highlighted the importance of collaboration between public and private entities to ensure high-quality medical services and supplies.

## Facility Operations and Innovations

Dr. Azad Moopen, Founder and Chairman of Aster DM Healthcare, along with Alisha Moopen, Managing Director and Group CEO, briefed Sheikh Hamdan on the operations of the 145,000 square foot facility. The center supports Aster's network across the UAE and GCC, handling around 75,000 transactions daily through 350 pharmacies, 120 clinics, and 15 hospitals.

Sheikh Hamdan praised the facility's innovative methods that enhance efficiency and accuracy in medicine distribution. He expressed support for Aster's growth and its commitment to adopting advanced solutions to improve healthcare services in the UAE.

## Accompanying Delegation

Sheikh Hamdan was joined by Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Helal Saeed Almarri, Director General of Dubai's Department of Economy and Tourism, and Malek Al Malek, Chairman of TECOM Group.
