## New Service at Dubai International Airport

Travelers passing through Dubai International Airport can now obtain an International Driving Permit (IDP) in just five minutes. This service, launched by the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA Dubai) in partnership with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), the Emirates Automobile and Touring Club, and Amer, is available at the Customer Happiness Centre in Terminal 3.

## Available 24/7 for UAE Licence Holders

The service is accessible around the clock for UAE citizens and residents who hold a valid UAE driving licence. To apply, individuals need to present their Emirates ID, a valid UAE driving licence, a passport copy, and a personal photograph. The application process is streamlined through integrated digital systems, ensuring quick verification and approval.

## Enhancing Travel Convenience

This initiative is part of Dubai's efforts to simplify travel procedures and enhance the quality of life for its residents and visitors. Major General Khalaf Ahmed Al Ghaith from GDRFA Dubai emphasized the initiative's role in advancing smart government services and improving the travel experience. Ahmed Mahboob, CEO of the Licensing Agency at RTA, highlighted the successful collaboration between strategic partners, which enhances customer experience at one of the busiest locations in the emirate.
