The UAE team showcased an outstanding performance at the 17th Fazza International Para Athletics Championships, part of the 2026 World Para Athletics Grand Prix. The team secured a total of 31 medals, including six golds, ten silvers, and fifteen bronzes, finishing fourth overall.

Mohamad Youssef Othman emerged as a standout athlete, clinching two gold medals in the men's 100m and 400m wheelchair T34 races.
