## UAE's Medal Triumph
The UAE team showcased an outstanding performance at the 17th Fazza International Para Athletics Championships, part of the 2026 World Para Athletics Grand Prix. The team secured a total of 31 medals, including six golds, ten silvers, and fifteen bronzes, finishing fourth overall.
## Leading Performers
Mohamad Youssef Othman emerged as a standout athlete, clinching two gold medals in the men's 100m and 400m wheelchair T34 races. Sara Aljneibi, a Rio 2016 silver medallist, returned to the top with a gold in the women's shotput F32/33 category. Thekra Al Kaabi also impressed with her victory in the men's 100m T71/72 race.
## Additional Achievements
Other gold medalists included Maryam Alzeyoudi in the women's discus throw F40 and Abdulla Mesbahi in the men's shot put F52/53/54. The UAE's silver medalists featured Ahmed Alhosani, Abdalla Almarzooqi, and Jumah Saeed Alteneiji, among others.
