Nakheel awards Dh800 million deal to build 537 Dubai Islands homes

## Major Contract Awarded

Nakheel has awarded a significant construction contract worth over Dh800 million to Metac General Contracting Co. for the development of 537 homes at Bay Grove Residences on Dubai Islands. This project is part of a larger waterfront community plan.

## Project Details

The construction will cover Phases 1 and 3 of the development, with completion expected by late 2028. Phase 1 will include 296 homes across four buildings, while Phase 3 will add 241 homes in three buildings. The residences will range from one to four bedrooms.

## Community Features

The development will feature amenities such as swimming pools, play courts, and a fitness center. Additionally, the community will offer landscaped areas, walking and cycling routes, and access to Crystal Beach.

## Future Plans

Bay Grove Residences is part of the broader Dubai Islands project, which will eventually include 1,154 homes across 15 buildings. Further phases will add 617 homes, with plans for these phases currently underway.
