## Cancellation of WRC Finale

The World Rally Championship (WRC) event scheduled for November in Saudi Arabia has been called off due to ongoing conflicts in the Middle East. This decision was announced by the International Automobile Federation (FIA) on Thursday.

## Impact on Motorsports

The regional unrest has affected various motorsport events, including the cancellation of the Formula One Grand Prix in Saudi Arabia. Other races in Qatar and Abu Dhabi are also uncertain.

## Future Plans

Despite the cancellation, the Middle East Regional Rally Championship will proceed in Saudi Arabia as planned. FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem expressed a commitment to bringing the WRC back to Saudi Arabia by 2027, working closely with local partners and the WRC Promoter.

## Current WRC Standings

The Saudi event was supposed to be the 14th and final round of the season. Now, Rally Sardinia, scheduled for October, will conclude the season. Toyota has already secured the manufacturers' title. In the drivers' standings, Elfyn Evans leads with 230 points, followed by Sami Pajari with 213 points, and Oliver Solberg in third with 209 points.
