UAE weather: Temperatures to hit 47°C as fog risk lingers into next week

The UAE is set to experience scorching temperatures this weekend, with Liwa expected to reach a peak of 47°C on Sunday. Abu Dhabi and Dubai will also see high temperatures, hitting 44°C and 42°C respectively. Meanwhile, Fujairah will be relatively cooler at 34°C.

## Humidity and Fog Concerns

Humidity levels will remain elevated, particularly in Liwa, Al Ruwais, and Al Sila, where it could reach up to 90%. Abu Dhabi and Dubai will also experience high humidity, with levels reaching 85% and 80% respectively. This increase in humidity raises the possibility of fog or mist forming overnight and into the early morning, especially in coastal and inland areas.

## Weather Conditions for the Week

The weather is expected to be generally fair, with partly cloudy skies over eastern regions. Winds will be light to moderate, shifting from southeast to northeast, and could reach speeds of up to 30 km/h. The Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea are predicted to remain calm, with slight to moderate conditions.

## Outlook for the Coming Days

As the week progresses, the weather will continue to be fair to partly cloudy. There is a chance of convective clouds forming over eastern areas by Monday afternoon. The humid conditions are likely to persist, with fog or mist possible in some areas overnight into Tuesday. Winds may strengthen, reaching up to 35 km/h, while sea conditions remain slight.
