## CBSE Issues Warning
India's Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has alerted students and parents about a fraudulent circular claiming the cancellation of certain Class 10 and 12 board exams. This false information has been circulating among Indian expatriate communities in the Middle East.
## Official Response
The CBSE clarified through social media that the circular is fake and filled with inaccuracies. The document falsely stated that exams were canceled due to global disruptions and safety concerns. CBSE assured that any official updates would be communicated directly.
## Local Authorities Informed
Dr. Ram Shankar, head of the CBSE Regional Office in Dubai, confirmed that a detailed report has been submitted to CBSE headquarters. He is in contact with local regulators and Indian diplomatic officials to address the situation.
## Advice for Stakeholders
Dr. Shankar emphasized the importance of relying on verified sources for information. He advised students, parents, and teachers to check CBSE's official social media and website for accurate updates, highlighting the need for caution in the age of social media.
