## Incident Overview
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been targeted by a series of Iranian drone and missile attacks, leading to three fatalities and 58 injuries. The UAE Ministry of Defence reported that since February 28, 2026, the country's air defense systems have intercepted 165 ballistic missiles, two cruise missiles, and 541 drones.
## Details of the Attack
On the second day of the assault, UAE forces successfully destroyed 20 ballistic missiles, with eight others falling into the sea. Additionally, two cruise missiles and 311 drones were neutralized. However, 21 drones managed to hit civilian areas, causing material damage.
## Casualties and Damage
The attacks resulted in the deaths of individuals from Pakistan, Nepal, and Bangladesh. The injured include people from various nationalities, such as Emirati, Egyptian, Ethiopian, and others. Debris from intercepted missiles and drones caused minor to moderate damage to civilian properties.
## Government Response
The UAE government emphasized its readiness to handle such threats and reassured the public that the safety of residents and visitors is a top priority. Authorities urged the public to rely on official sources for information and avoid spreading unverified news.
