## Flight Suspensions Across UAE
Major UAE airlines, including Emirates, Etihad, flydubai, and Air Arabia, have suspended flights until March 3 due to regional airspace closures. This decision follows recent military actions involving the US, Israel, and Iran, which have led to retaliatory measures affecting several Middle Eastern countries.
## Impact on Passengers
The airspace shutdowns have resulted in widespread flight cancellations and diversions, leaving many passengers stranded. Emirates has halted operations to and from Dubai until 3 pm on March 3, offering rebooking options and refunds. Etihad has similarly suspended flights to and from Abu Dhabi until 2 pm on the same day, with rebooking and refund policies in place.
## Safety and Operational Updates
Flydubai and Air Arabia have also paused flights, emphasizing passenger and crew safety as their top priority. Air Arabia has extended suspensions for flights to Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, and Iraq until March 4.
## Airport Operations
Ras Al Khaimah International Airport has temporarily suspended operations, advising passengers to stay in contact with airlines. Dubai Airports reported minor damage at a concourse, with injuries to four staff members, while Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi urged passengers to check with airlines before traveling.
Airlines and airports are closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
