## New Parking System Overview

Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO) is set to introduce a ticketless on-street parking system managed by PARKONIC. This new system will integrate with Salik accounts for automatic billing, eliminating the need for physical parking machines or cash payments.

## Pricing Structure

The parking fees will vary throughout the day. From 12am to 4pm, the rate is Dh4 per hour. During peak hours, from 4pm to 8pm, the cost increases to Dh6 per hour, then returns to Dh4 until midnight. Parking is free on Sundays and public holidays.

## Payment Methods

Motorists can pay via SMS by sending a message to a designated number or through automatic deductions from their Salik accounts. If no SMS session is initiated, the Salik account will be charged by default.

## Compliance and Enforcement

All vehicles, including those for People of Determination, are subject to these fees. Drivers without a Salik account or with insufficient funds should use the SMS option to avoid penalties. The exact activation date for this system is yet to be announced, so drivers should stay updated through official PARKONIC channels.
