## UAE Defence Capabilities

The United Arab Emirates has demonstrated its robust defence capabilities by intercepting a significant number of aerial threats. According to the Ministry of Defence, the UAE has successfully countered 186 ballistic missiles and 812 drones since the onset of regional tensions.

## Details of Interceptions

Brig. Staff Pilot Abdulnasir Alhameedi, a spokesperson for the Ministry, highlighted that out of the 186 missiles, 172 were destroyed, while 13 landed in the sea and one on UAE soil. Additionally, 755 out of 812 drones were intercepted, with the remainder falling within the country's territory. Eight cruise missiles were also detected and neutralized.

## Impact and Readiness

The incidents have resulted in three fatalities and 68 minor injuries, alongside some material damage to civilian properties. Despite these challenges, the UAE maintains a strategic stockpile of munitions, ensuring its readiness to respond to ongoing threats and protect national security.
