Saudi Arabia opens Hajj package bookings for domestic pilgrims

## Booking Process for Domestic Pilgrims

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has initiated the booking phase for Hajj packages, targeting domestic pilgrims. This includes Saudi citizens and residents with valid permits. Bookings can be made through the Nusuk digital platform, accessible via both website and mobile app.

## Payment and Deadlines

Payments for the selected packages are processed through the SADAD electronic system. Pilgrims must complete their payments within 72 hours of booking, a timeframe that will be reduced to six hours starting May 15 to accommodate more applicants. Failure to pay within the specified period will result in automatic cancellation of the reservation.

## Cancellation Policy

The ministry has outlined a cancellation policy where pilgrims can cancel without deductions before the Hajj permit is issued, up until April 18. After permits are issued, refunds depend on the timing of the cancellation. No refunds will be available for cancellations made from May 18 onwards.

## Digital System for Fair Access

This digital system aims to streamline Hajj services and ensure fair access to pilgrimage opportunities. The initial data-registration phase began on February 23, allowing applicants to review and select packages that best suit their needs.
