## A Memorable Reunion

Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar recently reunited with his childhood friend and former teammate Pravin Amre at Amre's farmhouse in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. The gathering was a nostalgic trip down memory lane for the two, who shared their experiences from their cricketing days.

## First Visit to Konkan

This visit marked Tendulkar's first trip to the Konkan region. Amre expressed his delight on Instagram, sharing that the reunion brought back memories of their time together in the Indian cricket team. "Once upon a time we shared a dressing room," Amre reminisced.

## Heartfelt Gratitude

Tendulkar thanked Amre for his warm hospitality, highlighting the delicious food and the joy of spending quality time with friends. He noted that the visit made their trip to Ganapatipule even more special.

## Shared History

Both Tendulkar and Amre hail from Maharashtra and have a long history together, having played domestic cricket and attended the same school, Shardashram Vidyamandir. Amre, who was a year senior, famously gifted Tendulkar his first pair of quality cricket shoes after a memorable century.

Pravin Amre played 11 Test matches and 37 One Day Internationals for India between 1991 and 1994. He scored a century on his Test debut against South Africa in 1992.
