## Inauguration of ISEA2026 Dubai

Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, officially opened the 31st International Symposium on Electronic/Emerging Art (ISEA2026) in Dubai. This event, themed "ELYAH: Constellating Place, Data, and Identity," is the largest of its kind, gathering artists and researchers globally until November 15.

## Celebrating Art, Science, and Technology

The symposium aims to explore the intersection of art, science, and technology, fostering creative expression and cultural understanding. It features 145 academic papers, over 50 talks, and more than 100 artworks. The event also includes an interactive show at ARTE MUSEUM Dubai, inspired by Dubai’s celestial heritage, which combines light, music, and digital technology.

## Dubai's Cultural Vision

Sheikha Latifa emphasized Dubai's growing influence in the global arts community and its commitment to fostering international dialogue between art and technology. She highlighted the importance of digital art in enriching cultural experiences and connecting diverse communities.

## Artistic and Academic Programs

The symposium offers both an in-person Artistic Programme with installations and performances across Dubai and an Online Academic Programme accessible worldwide. The event includes workshops, panel discussions, and presentations, focusing on themes like "Celestial Dialogues" and "Eco-Tech Futures."
