## UAE Intercepts Drones and Missiles
On the sixth day of the US-Israel-Iran conflict, the United Arab Emirates successfully intercepted several drones and cruise missiles. The UAE has detected 189 ballistic missiles since the onset of Iranian aggression, with 175 being destroyed. The country has also waived overstay fines due to airspace closures, allowing residents stranded abroad to return on special flights.
## Regional Military Developments
The conflict has seen Israel targeting sites in Tehran and Beirut, while the US military campaign has resulted in the sinking of 30 Iranian ships, including a drone carrier. In Kuwait, two US service members were killed, and the country intercepted numerous missiles and drones.
## Impact on Education and Travel
In response to the ongoing situation, the UAE has moved up spring break for schools and universities, with some exams being canceled. Etihad Airways is resuming limited flights from Abu Dhabi, and Flynas has announced exceptional flights between Saudi Arabia and Dubai.
## Broader Regional Tensions
Qatar intercepted a drone attack targeting the US air base at Al-Udeid, and Saudi Arabia neutralized ballistic missiles aimed at Prince Sultan Air Base. Bahrain reported an Iranian strike on a hotel and residential buildings in Manama, with no casualties reported.
## Economic and Political Reactions
The conflict has led to a spike in oil prices, causing a significant drop in the Dow Jones Industrial Average. NATO has heightened its missile defense posture in response to Iranian threats, and the US has suspended operations at its embassy in Kuwait. Meanwhile, Israel claims to have destroyed a significant portion of Iran's missile launchers and air defense systems.
