UAE–India travel: Air India, Air India Express add extra flights from UAE and Gulf nations

## Additional Flights from UAE

Air India and Air India Express have introduced extra flights from the UAE and other Gulf nations to India. This move aims to assist passengers affected by recent flight cancellations. The additional flights will cover major UAE cities including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, and Sharjah.

## Scheduled and Non-Scheduled Operations

On March 8, Air India will operate flights between Delhi and Mumbai to Jeddah, while Air India Express will connect Muscat to several Indian cities such as Delhi, Kochi, and Mumbai. Non-scheduled flights will also run from UAE cities to India, prioritizing passengers with existing bookings.

## Cancellations and Rebooking

Flights to Bahrain, Dammam, Doha, Kuwait, and Riyadh have been cancelled until mid-March. Affected passengers can rebook at no additional cost or request a full refund. Air India and Air India Express are reaching out to passengers to provide rebooking options.

## Operational Adjustments

Despite cancellations, Air India continues to operate flights to Europe and North America using alternative routes. Flights to North America now include technical stops in Rome or Vienna due to extended travel paths.

Passengers are advised to verify flight status online and ensure their contact information is updated to receive timely notifications from the airlines.
