Lulu Group, in collaboration with Dubai Awqaf, has inaugurated a new Lulu Xpress store at the Khawaneej Gate in Al Khawaneej-2, Dubai. This initiative is part of the Al Khawaneej Endowment Mall project, developed by the Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation.

## Partnership and Purpose

The store's opening highlights the growing partnership between Dubai Awqaf and Lulu Group, aiming to provide essential retail services while supporting sustainable endowment revenues. These revenues contribute to community initiatives and mosque maintenance across Dubai.

## Inauguration Ceremony

The store was officially opened by Essa Abdullah Al Ghurair, Chairman of Awqaf & Minors Affairs Foundation, with Ali Mohammed Al Mutawa, Secretary-General of Awqaf, and Yusuffali M.A., Chairman of Lulu Group, in attendance.

## Store Features

Spanning approximately 19,800 square feet, the Lulu Xpress store offers a variety of sections including groceries, fresh produce, meat, seafood, bakery items, health and beauty products, and mobile accessories. It also provides ample parking and self-checkout counters for customer convenience.

## Future Plans

Yusuffali M.A. mentioned plans to operate over 16 additional projects developed by Awqaf across the region, reflecting a strategic focus on expanding development-focused endowment projects through private sector partnerships.
