## EU's Strong Stance Against Iran

This declaration was made by European Council President Antonio Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen after a virtual meeting with officials from several Middle Eastern countries.

The EU leaders expressed gratitude to regional partners for their assistance in repatriating European citizens affected by the conflict. They reiterated the EU's commitment to being a dependable partner, ready to support efforts to de-escalate tensions and return to diplomatic solutions.
## Call for Iranian Compliance
The EU urged Iran to cease its nuclear and missile programs and criticized the regime's internal repression. The statement highlighted the EU's dedication to upholding international law and protecting civilians.
## Humanitarian Concerns in Lebanon
