Sharjah’s Nest Hotel offers 150 free rooms to travellers stranded by flight cancellations

## Free Accommodation for Stranded Travelers

In response to ongoing flight disruptions due to regional tensions, Sharjah's Nest Hotel has stepped up to assist travelers stranded in the UAE. The hotel, located in Aljada, Sharjah, is offering 150 free rooms to those affected by the cancellations. This initiative is part of a broader effort by the Arada Foundation to provide emergency accommodation.

## High Demand for Rooms

Initially, 100 rooms were made available, but due to high demand, an additional 50 rooms were added. The hotel is currently operating at about 95% occupancy. Guests are provided with full-board accommodation, including three meals daily. During Ramadan, Muslim guests also receive iftar and suhoor meals.

## Support from Other Hotels and Developers

Other hospitality groups and real estate developers in Dubai have also joined the effort. Danube Properties and Peace Homes Developments are offering free stays, while Imtiaz Developments is covering hotel expenses and providing home repair services. Mileo Hotel The Palm and Palazzo Versace Dubai are also offering complimentary stays.

## Government Support

In Abu Dhabi, authorities have instructed hotels to extend stays for guests unable to travel, with the government covering the costs. This coordinated response ensures that international visitors are not left without accommodation during this period of disruption.
