Saudi Arabia urges pilgrims to avoid peak hours for Umrah during last 10 days of Ramadan

## Avoiding Peak Hours

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has advised pilgrims to avoid performing Umrah during peak hours in the last 10 days of Ramadan. This period is expected to see a significant increase in worshippers at Mecca's Grand Mosque.

## Identified Busy Periods

The ministry has identified the busiest times as between 4pm and 10pm, and 5am to 8am. Moderate crowds are usually present from 11pm to 4am, while the hours from 8am to 3pm are generally less crowded, offering a more comfortable experience for pilgrims.

## Enhanced Preparations

In anticipation of the increased number of pilgrims, Saudi authorities have enhanced security and crowd-control measures. These include improved traffic management, humanitarian services, and the use of advanced technologies to regulate movement. Efforts are also being made to ease access to the central Haram area and manage bus congestion around the Grand Mosque.
