## Interception of Aerial Threats

The United Arab Emirates' Ministry of Defence confirmed that its air defence systems effectively intercepted missiles and drones launched from Iran. This response was part of ongoing efforts to protect the nation's airspace amid rising tensions.

## Details of the Attack

The Ministry reported that the sounds heard across various regions were due to the interception of ballistic missiles and drones targeting the UAE. Since the attacks began, there have been six fatalities and 122 injuries.

## Defence System Performance

The UAE's air defence has detected 262 ballistic missiles, successfully intercepting 241. Nineteen missiles fell into the sea, and two landed within the UAE. Additionally, 1,475 drones were detected, with 1,385 intercepted and destroyed. Ninety drones fell within the country.

## Integrated Defence Strategy

The interception operations are part of the UAE's integrated air defence system, designed to safeguard critical infrastructure and civilian areas. The system also detected and destroyed eight cruise missiles, demonstrating its capability to handle various aerial threats.
